Ramona was the first "new song" and this was the second. Since the lyrics for this song changed every performance, ad libbed by Ryan, it was dubbed simply "New Song 2." Due to the improvised lyrics, there could literally be dozens of variations of this song. The music always remained the same until the Spring 2002 tour, in which the song was tightened considerably. During that same tour, the lyrics began to remain much more stagnant from show-to-show within the same tour. Rumor has it that this song did not make the cut for Keep It Together due to Adam's dislike for it.
