New domain...new blog entry. Since this will likely be my last domain move for a while, let's hope the blog entries are more frequent than ISP changes, shall we?
Welcome to the new domain - vividgreen.net. Not much to report here yet, but I'm hoping that by the time summer rolls around, it'll be a little bit more than just Viv's and my blogs. Hmm, that's awkward to write. Anyway - this should eventually be a little Dave and Viv music museum - memorabilia, reviews, and of course, the random musings you've come to know and love. Well, know. Well, they'll be random musings, anyway. When there are musings. Ahem.
So why vividgreen.net? Well, back a few years ago, someone suggested to us that we should have our own "production company" with all of the trading and stuff we do. So we thought of ways to combine our names, blah blah, and came up with Vivid (sounds a little bit better than Davien, no?). Unfortunately, the dot-com version of that name is, shall we say, taken by the Internet version of the world's oldest profession. So we added "green" from my usual handle (see elsewhere for my far-too-lengthy and revelatory explanation of that). And wouldn't you know it, the dot-com version of that name is also owned by the same company (though it doesn't work...it's just taken). So we're sticking it to the man in taking their .net name (insert evil, world-dominating laughter here). Take that, Internet porn!
